DAVE DUNLOP is originally from London Ontario and moved to Toronto to attend Humber College in 1975. Since then he has played in many clubs, studios and theatres throughout Ontario. Dave is the lead trumpet in Rob McConnell's Boss Brass and has worked with Michael Buble, Shania Twain and Paul Anka. He has played at Jazz festivals in Montreal, Halifax, Montreux, Bern, Ottawa, and Toronto. Dave has recently finished recording "The HANG", his first solo CD. Co-written with Jim McGrath it is a mix of Smooth Jazz, Funk, and R&B. He is currently teaching at Humber College, writing new material for a second CD and still working in studios, theatres, and clubs.
